Hi, I’m happy today because I’m a part of the Love Undone blog tour.

And this my review :

Love Undone by Diana Nixon

Available from JUNE, 3rd 2014

Synopsis :

What would you do if all your memories were gone? One day Kassie wakes up and realizes that her life is nothing but an endless emptiness… One tragic incident takes away everything that she has ever cherished and loved: family, friends and all the best moments that she ever lived through. Now everything seems unknown, including a beautiful stranger, whose mere look makes her heart beat faster. Who is that reckless and mysterious man? Is he just an old friend or an enemy? Sinking into the vortex of indescribable emotions, they will give in to the most irresistible temptation ever, just to fall in love with each other, again and again…

My review :

Kassie is a kind, brave, passionate, independent and hard-working woman. After her brother dies in a car accident, she becomes the owner of his confectionery. She loves her job, making cakes is her passion.

She gets hurt in an explosion and loses her memory, which complicates her life significantly. During the book, she rediscovers her past and her feelings become confused.I find Kassie very charming, she loves her brother and misses him a lot. Adrian’s shade still glides above the heads. I appreciated some moments at the end; I did not expect such a calm reaction from Kassie, because she could be very impulsive sometimes.

Daniel is the best friend of Kassie’s brother. When he finds out about Kassie being hurt and taken to the hospital, a part of his world collapses. His sister, Emily, is Kassie’s best friend. Emily and Daniel had a sad childhood, they grew up in an orphanage, and it was Adrian, Kassie’s brother who helped them find a new family.

Now  Daniel is the owner of a workshop, he likes motorcycles, he is nice, hot, protective, honest, he’s a person to rely on, and your secrets are safe with him. He has a dark side that I liked a lot but nevertheless, tenderness was what I appreciated in him a lot. He and Kassie had their story. It didn’t end well. And now, the fact that her memories are gone, gives Daniel a chance to start it all from the very beginning.

I fell in love with this book!  The characters are charming, they seem real, they have a nice and simple life; no millionaires or prudish girls; their past has drama, but not as much as in many other contemporary romances.I found that the story was built well, there are no slowdowns (for the record, I read it in 4 hours, and I think the fact speaks for itself). Diana Nixon knows how to make you love her characters, she knows how to make a reader read her book in one breath and she writes very well.

I liked the relationship between Emily and Kassie, it was a great example of friendship that you can rarely see in reality.I liked the tempting tension between Kassie and Daniel, because it made me dream and smile a lot. I liked the brotherly relationship between Emily and Daniel, he did everything he could to protect her. She’s his little sisterand even though sometimes he acts like a real moron, you will still see how adorable he can be.

I was pleasantly surprised by the end of the book and characters’ reactions to the secrets revealed. In any other novel I would expected more anger and less understanding and this is one of  those things that I like about Diana’s Nixon’s books.  She knows how to surprise me in every sense of the word.

Finally, I will say only one thing – if you are looking for a story full of love, passion and friendship, hurry to grab a copy of Love Undone, you will not regret it!
