The first real book which gave me the passion of book was The Witching Hour by Anne Rice.
The first book I have read in english was Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince, because I’m an impatient girl and the french book wasn’t edited yet.
After that I’ve mostly read books in french until the end of Twice Bitten (Chicagoland Vampires #3) by Chloé Neill. After this one, I have one goal and it was read Drink Deep.
The first book I have read in english write by an unknow author in France was Obsidian by Jennifer L Armentrout. And after that I have read all her books and also discover some amazing US, English, Australian and Russian authors.
Now I’ve read mostly in english because there are a lot of good author who aren’t edited in French and also because the books in France are Way too expensive.
The Hard Cover are at approximately 20 € which is 28 $
The pocket are at approximately 8 € which is 11 $
The YA books are at approximately 14 € which is 19 $
The ebook are also expensive in french.
So voilà, this is me.
I have so many favorites authors and genre. I’ve read YA, NA, Romance, Fantasy and Thriller…
I hope you will like this blog.
I am not a professional reviewer, but I like to review a book honestly. In fact almost all my reviews have high ratings but it’s because I choose the books I want to read carefully and not because I don’t be honest. My reviews can be long or short but always personal.
I’m french so I’m asking you to be kind, my review won’t be perfect, I’ll probably have some problems with grammar and conjugaison. I apologize for that in advance.
I accept print and digital copies, I live in France so I understand that shipping cost is expensive and you must prefer ebook and this is not a problem for me.
I am on NetGalley and Edelweiss so you can send me a book via these websites.

Goodness, I understand you perfectly. I am an American living in Italy. I love reading in Italian, too, but books are SO expensive here. Had to laugh when I saw your pricing for books – same here. Happy to discover your blog!
Yes book s are very expensive in France and not translate very well too.
I met a good friend via Instagram who complains the same thing, German books being a little expensive and takes time before being published!
