~My review ~

Gail Bennett is really a good girl, she’s kind, honest and she’s the girl you really want for friend. Even after her boss is reduced her hours while she really needed it, she doesn’t let him see that she annoyed and that she needs help.She hates depending financially or other one of somebody. Her best friend, Abbey, suggests then to her taking for roommate, his future brother in law, Damon Johnson. What Abbey don’t know it’s Gail is attracted by Damon since the only time when she saw him. She had quite a lot of blow hard loving level and does not open any more so easily. On the other hand, she helps her parents financially so that her sister Caroline, who is reached by trisomy, have a better luck in life.

Damon Johnson has just arrived in California and he does not still know if he is going to stay but when his sister-in-law suggests him becoming the roommate of Gail because she needs it, he doesn’t hesitate one moment.  Mainly because he like her.  Damon is really a character whom I appreciated, he is beautiful, sexy, charming, thoughtful and generous. He knows how to be there when Gail needs it.

I liked a lot this story because Gail and Damon was made to be together, I know that makes dumped but sometimes it is good. At no time there is a separation and sometimes it feels good to read a story which is beautiful and makes dream. I appreciated the evolution of the relation between Damon and Gail. I also a lot liked the behavior of Damon with Gail’s family. And moments between Damon and his brother Jason or those between Gail and Abbey are just funny.

I admit that I began this series with the book 5 because I’m reviewing it but I’m going to read the other books, those on Kyle and Lily and also the one on Jason and Abbey, because I like Alicia Rae’s style. It’s fluid, simple and without flourish. She describes the feelings of the characters with a disconcerting ease. And the story is very beautiful even if I admit that it’s a beautiful fairy tale. I am probably too pessimistic but I have difficulty in imagining that a similar man really exists. And nevertheless my husband is already brilliant.

If you want a beautiful refreshing love story for this summer, A beautiful Thought is the book which you need.
