About Bone Deep:
The boy who wants forgiveness…
Haunted by the train accident his father instigated, college freshman Krister Ledoux is obsessed with
finding the person sending him cryptic hate mail. He knows it’s one of them—a family member of one of the accident victims, and he’s willing to go to hell and back to find out which one.
The girl he can’t forget…
She was a stranger who kissed him in the middle of the train station, and now she’s the girl who pleads with her eyes for Krister to be the distraction she’s so desperate for. Krister doesn’t know what it is about her, why he’s sucked into playing Cambria’s game… All he knows is that when he’s with her, he isn’t consumed with thoughts of the crash.
The collision that can’t be avoided…
Cambria doesn’t know who Krister is—that he’s the son of the town’s most infamous killer, and he knows if his true identity surfaces he’ll lose her forever. However secrets can’t stay buried forever, and now Krister must fight to prove that their bone-deep connection is far more powerful than the hatred she now has toward him.

My Review
Krister and Cambria are two damaged young people who find hope in each other. Krister’s father was responsible for a train crash that killed eight people and destroyed eight families. It was a year ago, now Krister must live with his father in jail and someone sends him hate letters.
Krister is sad and he has grievance with his father for his moment of distraction which has killed 8 people. Krister is a good boy but after the accident he lost hope in life, he tries to find the person sending him letters to explain him that he aims to be but that he isn’t guilty of his father’s actions. One day he meets Cambria on the train station, she is sad and they get acquainted. A short time later he discovers that Cambria’s mother was a victim of the crash and that Cambria doesn’t know that he’s the son of the train’s driver.
Krister and Cambria have post-accident and pre-accident characters. They aren’t the same after the crash train.
The storyline line was pretty good. It’s well written and the characters are well described, we feel Krister’s and Cambria’s guilt like it was ours.
I would have wanted a little more development on the interactions with the various minor characters, as Ditty, Jess, Alexi, Cambria’s brother and of course Krister’s father.
This story shows us perfectly that we won’t reproduce the errors committed by our relatives. We have the choice and the hope.
