Synopsis
It doesn’t hurt to dream, unless you know your dreams will never come true.
Since childhood, Louise Woods has wanted to become a dancer. The day she arrives at Le Papillon – a private cabaret club where men come to enjoy the beauty of women dancing, her life completely changes. Louise lives in the club and the rules of living and working there cannot be ignored or broken. Either you do your best to please the clients, or you are out. No flirting, no secret affairs, just dancing.
During her first public show, Louise meets a stranger who pays for the privilege to have her privately dance for him. He won’t let her see his face, he won’t even introduce himself, but he will make an offer that she won’t be able to refuse. He won’t make any hollow promises, but he will make her believe she is special…
“I hate following the rules,” he’ll say, “but I do love breaking them.”
Will she dare to risk losing everything she has, just to make the darkest of the stranger’s fantasies come true? Once the decision is made, there will be no way back…
Review
Louise is a sexy romance with a young girl and a stranger. It takes place in a cabaret and it remembers me a lot of things. The ambiance is very well described, same for the rules. The cabaret seems very real and the girls too.
Louise is a strong girl with dreams; unfortunately she doesn’t have luck in her life. But she’s a fighter and I like that in her, she’s not desperate and it’s a good thing if you want a normal life. The secret man is gorgeous and I love him, He’s sweet, gentle, protective and it’s a good man. All the characters seems very real, Kate is a great girl with a big heart, everyone knows a Val in its life, even if it’s for one second, Drew is a good boss.
I haven’t been extremely surprised by something but it’s not important because this book is great. I have read it in one day and thanks to Diana I haven’t got much sleep because I cannot put the book before the end. As always when Diana write more than one book in a series, she finds a way to torture you mentally until the next one. The end is beautiful and sad in the same time.
I really enjoyed this book; Louise and Secret man are very handsome together. He takes the best of her and shows her what she can do. And she’s doing her best to make him tell her the truth, she’s very talented but he’s better.
The world is a great memory for me and I like that.
As always the ending is GRRRRRR… Diana you are a sadistic author with your readers but I love you anyway.
Diana is very talented, how many author can write so much book is so little time ? She’s not human, she’s a SUPERHERO.
The cover is absolutely gorgeous and I can’t wait to buy the paperback.
I have one more thing to say, YOU WANT TO READ LOUISE BECAUSE IT’S SEXY, ROMANTIC & HOT.
Thanks Diana for giving me the opportunity to read Louise before the release date.
