Review

Lailah and Jude are happy, they live in New York now and move in their life together. They try to make all their dreams come true.

I won’t tell more about the story because you must discover it by yourself but I can’t tell you that this story is breathtaking and amazing.

Lailah is strong, she’s happy and she will make a choice which change her life and Jude’s life. Lailah is an amazing character, she’s full of life and after all she’s been through it’s incredible to see her so spread.

Jude is protective but it was always the case, he makes all that he can to protect Lailah. His reactions are understandable and he is so irreproachable that we forgive him easily his small gaps.

Their relation evolved since Within These Walls and I appreciate the fact that the characters did not change enormously. The list of Lailah is always there and it’s the thing which I like very much. This list allows exactly Lailah and Jude to remain simple and happy.

Certain things were predictable but I expected worse, finally I am very satisfied that it wasn’t so far as I thought of it because nevertheless I shed some small tears.

J.L Berg has a real gift to describe a situation which can turn out tragic while leaving some hope. She has created two magnificent characters, we can only become attached to Jude and Lailah, and they are soft and moving. It is surprising to feel so attracted by a history and to love all the characters. I look forward to discovering Roman’s history because he looks like a good man, lost certainly but kind.
