Synopsis

Review

My review will be short, mostly because it’s a short novel so I don’t have much to say.

It’s been a long time since I’ve read a story about vampires, it’s not that I don’t like them, it’s just that some other books attracts me more. The synopsis of this one was appealing and I definitely want to read the first book because this novel opens to a new world.

The story is told by Octavian, a Blood Prince, there are 12 houses and 12 vampire lines. The ranks inside the house are well explained in this novel.

It is really impressive to see how the author managed to create a complex world and to explain it to us, where quite at least to begin to explain it to us. I cannot say that I became attached to the characters because this novel just allows us to understand the world and not to developed the characters, even if there is a potential with Octavian and Sage.

I will definitely read the next book to learn more about this world and its vampire.
