The Hidden Library

Sometimes, the rabbit hole is deeper than expected . . .

Alice Reeve and Finn Van Brunt have tumbled into a life of secrets. Some secrets they share, such as their employment by the clandestine organization known as The Collectors’ Society. Other secrets they carry within them, fighting to keep buried the things that could change everything they think they know.

On the hunt for an elusive villain who is hell-bent on destroying legacies, Alice, Finn, and the rest of the Society are desperate to unravel the mysteries surrounding them. But the farther they spiral down this rabbit hole, the deeper they fall into secrets that will test their loyalties and pit them against enemies both new and old.

Secrets, they come to find, can reveal the deadliest of truths.

It was a great pleasure to read the sequel of The Collectors’ Society and to see Finn, Alice, Victor and Mary again.

The story takes place after the first book and is told by Alice and Finn. I won’t talk about the story and I will let you discover this amazing story.

The story is good and I love its originality, I haven’t read a book like that with books inside books and I love that. It’s really well written and the characters have great personalities. You will love Alice and her humor, Finn and his kindness, Victor and his madness.

All the characters are strong and brave, they doesn’t let the bad guys wins. I loved to see some Alice in Wonderland people again and I am enjoying seeing them interact with Alice and Finn. I can’t tell you how much I love the White King, he’s so kind and he deserves to know love. (I’m here if you want) I love Finn and the way he always protect Alice, we learn a little more about him and it’s nice. I love Alice because she’s smart and brave. She never hesitates in front of danger. I like Victor and Mary because they are a cute couple, they are smart and they love Finn and Alice.

In this book you’ll see some others books related characters and you’ll have a lot more questions. This end will kill you, Heather Lyons is a little sadistic with this one and the only thing I hope is the third book will come soon.

Heather Lyons is a great author who knows how to write an original story with good characters, great books and a very good plot. Yes, she loves cliffhanger’s end but it’s why I like her so much.

If you haven’t read The Collectors’ Society, go read it because it’s an amazing story and The Hidden Library is also amazing.

coup de coeur
