2December 17, 2015 by ceresbooksworld
Making Waves is a weekly question feature created by the Waterwitch Babes (part of Susan Dennard’s Truthwitch Street Team). Every Thursday, we’ll have a fun question that all are welcome to answer on their blog. Anyone can join! The questions will be random and/or relate to the upcoming book Truthwitch by Susan Dennard. A linky is provided so that everyone can link up their post and participate in the fun!
To participate, we do ask that you use the Making Waves banner in your post and link back to the Waterwitch Babes blog.
This week’s question : Happy Holidays! Feature something holiday and Truthwitch themed!
I will talk about Christmas tradition in my family.
Christmas is celebrated on december 24th night in my husband’s family.
At 8PM we are drinking a cup of champagne and we are going candlelit dinner, we are eating salmon, oysters, turkey, chestnuts, potatoes, cheese, pudding, and log with chesnut or chocolate.
After that everybody puts himself in single file of the youngest in the oldest and we go to the lounge to open presents by our shoes.
I love seeing my kids with stars in their eyes when they are seeing all the gifts under the tree.
And it’s big because we are at least 25 people.
Don’t forget the giveaway HERE to win a Truthwitch Pendant.
Next week’s question : What are your Christmas Eve traditions?
Check out the official Making Waves Tumblr page!
Wow, Carine! That sounds like such an incredible set of traditions! Your kids are so lucky to have such wonderful experiences! Enjoy! 🙂
