Synopsis (from goodreads)
Sometimes life leaves a mark…
Most days, Andrea doesn’t know whether she wants to kiss Tanner or punch him in the gut. He is seriously hot, with legit bedroom eyes and that firefighter body of his, but he’s a major player, and they can’t get along for more than a handful of minutes. Until now.
Tanner knows he and Andrea have had an epic love/hate relationship for as long as he can remember, but he wants more love than hate from her. He wants her. Now. Tomorrow. But the more he gets to know her, the more it becomes obvious that Andrea has a problem. She’s teetering on the edge and every time he tries to catch her, she slips through his fingers.
Andrea’s life is spiraling out of control, and it doesn’t matter that Tanner wants to save her, because when everything falls apart and she’s speeding toward rock bottom, only she can save herself.
Sometimes life makes you work for that happily ever after…
We have seen Andrea and Tanner in frigid but just a little. Andrea is Sydney’s friend and Tanner is Kyler’s best friend.
Andrea is a sweet girl with some issues, she’s not confident in herself. She drinks a lot, fight with Tanner all the time.
They are going on a one week vacation with Sydney and Kyler, they will learn to know each other.
Tanner is a really kind boy, he’s sweet, he cares about Andrea and he’s not afraid to say what he thinks. I like him because he can say something hard to Andrea and be able to see that’s it’s a mistake and excuse himself.
Andrea has some big problems, she knows it but don’t accept it. It’s hard to be her and I understand her because it’s a normal problem in the 21 century. It could happen to me and it has happened to some people I know. It’s not easy to see that you have an addiction problem, it’s a hard work and Andrea do it very well.
I love to see Tanner and Andrea interact together, they are really awesome, it’s cute to see them fight, love, talk and learn to know each other.
Jennifer L Armentrout is a talented author and I like her, I’m a big fan, I have all her books and I like every one of them, some more than the others and this one is good. She gives life to Tanner and mostly to Andrea, she makes them real.
If you liked Frigid, you will like Scorched and look at this beautiful cover too.
