Cupid has a heart-on by Tara Sivec
Book two in The Holidays
Publication date: January 31st, 2016
Source: Ebook bought on amazon
Rating: 4 hearts
Synopsis (from goodreads)
The Holiday family is back, crazier than ever in this special, Valentine’s Day story!
Cupid hits a few roadblocks on the way to Sam and Noel’s hearts after their whirlwind Christmas romance. Nipplegate 2016, a stray stripper and a regrettable mix-up with narcotics are just the tips of the arrow when it comes to shooting these two with happily ever after. Nothing seeing a grown man wearing an adult diaper and wings can’t fix…hopefully.
Review
I loved the first book in the series and I was happy to find Sam, Noel and her crazy family again.
There is also two new characters, Sheva who is Noel’s best friend and Alex who is Sam’s best friend. I love all the characters of this book, they are fun, and Noel’s family is REALLY crazy.
Her mother is a sex addict, she always stalk about sex, her aunt/uncle Bobbie is a drug addict and also sex, the men of the family are great and almost normal.
Noel and Sam have big issues with communication; nothing has changed since the first book on this side. We would have been able to think that they would have learnt their lesson but absolutely not.
Noel doesn’t want to live with Sam is she doesn’t find a job and their relation is complicated because they are always in Noel’s parent house. They have no intimacy and the sexual relations are complicated. It gives to the reader of numerous opportunities to laugh.
One thing I didn’t understand is why Noel doesn’t go at Sam’s house sometimes. She can sleep there and not move in with him.
Noel is afraid; she’s in love with Sam but doesn’t think his proposal is real. She doesn’t want to urge their relation.
I like their relation and I like Noel’s family so much, I don‘t know if I would like to be a part of this family because I think that sometimes that has to be a little too much.
Sam is a very great man; he loves Noel and wants her to be happy, with him forever. He likes her family too and that is a huge thing.
I really recommend this book if you’ve read the first one and if not you MUST read The Stocking was hung and discover these crazy people.
