Review

I don’t know where to begin except that I had wait this book for so long and it’s not vain because I freaking love it. It’s always good to see Alice in Wonderland and not only in the society. The end of The Forgotten Mountain was awful, for me at least, I had some fears and I’m very pleased to see that True Love always wins.

The Lost Codex takes places right after The Forgotten Mountain, and yes all your questions will be answered.

I love Alice, you already know that if you read my other review, she is a strong and brave woman, that doesn’t change in TLC. In this book we finally see some weakness, it’s nice to see her in doubt and not always so confident. Alice is my favorite’s character of all the times.

Finn is a wonderful guy, he doesn’t want to hurt to Alice and he doesn’t tell her the truth, but when it matters, he is here for her, he fight for her. I like him and I like him with Alice, they are complementary, it’s beautiful to see them together and my heart love to see them happy.

Jace is present in this book, as a big part takes place in Wonderland. He really deserves a great girl because he is so good with Alice, even if he can’t have her.

An important character in TLC is The Librarian, we finally discover who she is, and that, my friends is a revelation. We also seen her having doubt and finally she doesn’t know everything.

The evil people are really evil and what they do to Finn and Victor is absolutely cruel and awful.

Heather Lyons give us a series with magic, books, illusion, good texts, beautiful covers. She creates amazing characters that I love very deeply, and she makes me wants to go through the rabbit hole to see Wonderland. She made me wants to reread some classical books, as Peter Pan, Huckleberry Finn, Sweeney Todd and a lot more. I don’t know where the idea of this series comes from but it’s the most wonderful series I read in the last five years and I would love to see it in movie. Heather Lyons deserves to have a movie like J.K Rowling and her Harry Potter.

Quick word: The Lost Codex is the perfect ending for a magical series that is my favorite series of all time.

I would love to see The Red Queen against all the men who treats women like s**t. She is the Real Evil.
