This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! It was created by Tynga’s review.

If you want to find out more about Stacking The Shelves, please visit the official launch page!

Below Deck by Tara Sivec

below-deck

Declan McGillis can’t stand rich people. But working as a deckhand on a luxury charter yacht, he also can’t escape them. Declan has spent years kissing their ass and doing their bidding…whatever it takes to make his dreams come true, and nothing will get in his way of being the captain of his own yacht one day.

Mackenzie Armstrong knows what people think when they look at her. She knows from the outside looking in, it seems like her family has it all and doesn’t have a care in the world. Things aren’t always what they seem, and not only does Mackenzie have the weight of her family’s struggles on her shoulders, she also needs to prove to Declan that she’s not the spoiled princess he believes her to be.

Declan can’t ignore the sparks of lust between them, even though Mackenzie is completely off limits and absolutely out of his league.

Mackenzie thinks a vacation fling is just what she needs to forget about the mess her life has become, and Declan is the perfect man for the job.

Will this be a quick romp in the water, or will it turn into something more when Mackenzie finally gets below Deck?

Carve the Mark by Veronica Roth

carve-the-mark

In a galaxy powered by the current, everyone has a gift.

Cyra is the sister of the brutal tyrant who rules the Shotet people. Cyra’s currentgift gives her pain and power — something her brother exploits, using her to torture his enemies. But Cyra is much more than just a blade in her brother’s hand: she is resilient, quick on her feet, and smarter than he knows.

Akos is the son of a farmer and an oracle from the frozen nation-planet of Thuvhe. Protected by his unusual currentgift, Akos is generous in spirit, and his loyalty to his family is limitless. Once Akos and his brother are captured by enemy Shotet soldiers, Akos is desperate to get this brother out alive — no matter what the cost.
The Akos is thrust into Cyra’s world, and the enmity between their countries and families seems insurmountable. Will they help each other to survive, or will they destroy one another?
Carve the Mark is Veronica Roth’s stunning portrayal of the power of friendship — and love — in a galaxy filled with unexpected gifts.

The princess and her accused killer are forced to go into hiding – even as a war between planets is waged in Rhee’s name. But soon, Rhee and Aly discover that the assassination attempt is just one part of a sinister plot. Driven saison 1 de K. Bromberg

driven

  1. Ooh, good haul. I need to catch up and get the new V.E. Schwab book soooon… just need to reread the first book, I think. (What a hardship!) Hope you enjoy the new books!

    My STS.

  2. I need to read A Conjuring Of Light, but I haven’t finished book 2 yet. All your books look very entertaining. Have a great time reading them.

  3. YAY, lots of sci-fi books! I didn’t really like Empress of a Thousand Skies but I think I’ll still read the sequel since it’s only a duology. Same with Carve the Mark… duologies are great. 😀 I hope you enjoy all of your new books!

Have a lovely weekend, Carine. 🙂

    Check out my STS post!

    • I didn’t really like Empress either but it was the book on the fairy loot box lol. For Carve the mark the book is gorgeous and I liked Divergent trilogy so I will see. Have a nice week too.
