Synopsis
Where there is dark, there is light.
The two halves make a whole…
Or do they constantly battle for dominance?
Kenna Julius is your average teenage girl. She has a bossy mom, a new boyfriend in school, and she never dreams of enchanted lands or fairytale castles.
She lives in the real world.
Or so she thought.
One fender bender sends Kenna traipsing through the woods and following her mom’s crazy directions. But when she falls into another realm where men play flutes under the full moon and magical powers crackle the air, her perception of fantasy becomes her reality. The hot guy she meets doesn’t help matters either when he claims she’s his.
Or does Kenna actually belong to another?
Someone much more…dark?
Part two
Where there is light, there is dark.
The two halves make a whole…
Or do they constantly battle for dominance?
Juliet Julius has watched her daughter, Kenna, grow into a fierce young woman. She has protected her. She has guarded her. She has sacrificed all she had to give. And she tried her hardest to keep her from the Dark.
But now it’s Juliet’s turn.
Her social life is no longer on hold.
Juliet can shimmy her hips whenever she wants.
But it’s too bad those hips attract so much attention. Juliet might just have a sinister problem of her own. In the form of one hell of an alpha male who wants nothing more than to destroy her…and to sensually devour her body.
Review
These two short stories are about different characters, the part one is about Kenna, who is Juliet’s daughter, the discovery of her power and the choice she will have to make. Good versus Evil, but is the Good really good and Evil really bad?
This first part was interesting, there are a lot of mysteries about Kenna and her father, I understand totally when she tells that both sides are the same, because the Dark Elves feed from sadness and Light Elves feed from Hapiness.
The first book didn’t have mysteries, I’m very pleased that it don’t have a love triangle, because I like the story.
The second part is about Juliet and Kenna’s father, it’s very interesting to see who he is and I like him. The love story between them begins badly but after that, they learn to love.
I like these two books, it was a very fast reading but I’m happy to say that I like the story and the characters. Sadly like all the short story, it would been better if the romance was more developed and if we knew more about the characters.
Quick word: A very short story to read if you have a little time.
