For centuries, the University of Dever has been a fount of knowledge, mysteries and magic.
Every gifted person could find a home there. Until the day the gifts became evil….
Now Eileen, Christian and their friends need to find a way to save Dever and to protect its dwellers from the hermits who will stop at nothing to destroy the world they live in.
But what if everything they believe in is just a myth? An illusion that was never supposed to become real….
What if the love they are bound with is just a dream that will vanish with the first rays of the morning sun?

This book is awesome, this is the last book in the series and it’s perfect.

Dever moved to Lake Tahoe, Eileen feels that a change is about to happen and her father gives her a mission. She will meet new people, discover a new form of magic and have to protect the people they love.

Eileen is faithful to herself, she’s full of compassion, she likes to meet new people even if she’s not reassured, which I understand after all that happened in her life. Her relationship with Christian is still perfect, and her friendship with Evan is magical and important. I love Eileen, she’s a simple and honest person, faithful in love and friendship and she protects the people she loves.

Now let’s talk about Evan, my love, in Upon the stars he will have to face something extremely hard and his relationship with Amanda will be stronger afterwards. I love his relationship with Eileen, they are very close and thanks to their powers, they can enter into the head of each other. It makes them stronger and especially closer to each other, they are bound and there is a passage in the book that I particularly loved. This is where Evan finds himself in Eileen’s head when she has a very special moment. Another passage I like is his interaction with the new mistress, Carine… Yes I know it’s a little arrogant to love her character but I liked her look and her splits with Evan.

What the whole group lives is intense, they know they are in danger and seek to protect themselves, at the same time some have secrets towards others but nothing very serious in itself. Everything ends up being known at one time or another. I loved the story because it’s full of actions, discoveries, and especially the friendship between Evan, Eileen, Amanda and Christian is so beautiful that it is impossible not to love.

The new characters are interesting; I loved their magic and their way of life. They bring a lot to the story.

I really loved this book, it made me feel all kinds of emotions, go from laughter to tears (just at one moment) and I strongly advise this series.

Thanks Diana for having created this story and sharing it with us poor readers. And thank you for making me such a badass character.

Quick word: A perfect ending for an amazing series.
