Phoenix, Codrick and Embry are like the three musketeers, they are the best friends of the world, Embry and Codrick are in love and plan to spend all their lives together, until the day the drama arrives. Codrick dies and Embry is desperate, she runs away from her family and her best friend. When she returns a year later, she is no longer the same, her shell is thick and she does not show any emotions.

Embry suffered, she lost the man of her life and I can understand her pain, what I had more trouble understanding is her stubbornness to flee Phoenix, he too is suffering, Codrick was his best friend and not only did he lose him but he also lost his other best friend. Embry knows that Phoenix suffers and that she hurts him by running away but that’s not why she tries to be forgiven. Aside from her initial reaction with Phoenix, Embry is an adorable person, she is not happy but she will do everything to save Phoenix.

Phoenix is a tender boy, sexy and built like a God, the loss of Codrick upset him but he could have been better if Embry had not run away. He found himself embroiled in a sordid affair. He knows how to fight, he does it very well, when Embry comes back he keeps hope that everything will become as before. He has always been in love with Embry but has made way for Codrick.

I liked the story, the change of relationship between Embry and Phoenix, the evolution of it from the return of Embry. They are very close to each other and Codrick’s ghost pushes them into each other’s arms. I love Embry’s audacity, she knows how to defend herself and fight and to protect Phoenix, and she will not hesitate to take risks.

CM Stunich was able to make me cry, on this subject there is no doubt, from beginning to end we feel the emotions of the characters, we identify with them and we want a happy end for Phoenix and Embry .

The only small shadow on the board is the number of spelling or typing mistakes that are sometimes bothersome.
