Synopsis
**A standalone royal romance**
At first glance I probably seem like any good-looking guy in their late twenties. I have an obscene amount of confidence, a tattooed body sculpted by the Nordic gods, and I love the ladies as much as they love me.
If I’m not BASE jumping or car racing, I’m chasing other devious thrills with the woman of the week. And that’s fine if you’re the average single guy.
But I’m not the average single guy.
I’m Crown Prince Magnus of Norway and my latest scandal just landed my entire royal family in hot water.
Now the only way the monarchy can save face is for me to smarten up – publicly. If I don’t, I’ll no longer be heir apparent to the throne. So it’s either I abdicate my future role as King or…
I get married.
To a blue-blooded stranger.
Enter Princess Isabella of the tiny country of Liechtenstein.
Quiet, intelligent, and uniquely beautiful, Ella doesn’t like this arrangement any more than I do and she’s not afraid to show it. She says I’m a womanizer, that I don’t take anything seriously, that my ego should be taken down a few pegs, and I think she aims to make me miserable for the rest of my life.
But even as our arranged marriage becomes a war of wit and words, I’m determined to break through Ella’s prim and proper façade to find the wild, sexual and risk-taking woman underneath. I want to uncover the Queen inside her.
The only question is – will she let me?
Review
I discovered Magnus in The Swedish Prince and quite frankly I fell under his spell. He is the Crown Prince of Norway, he is a womanizer, who has temperament of fire. He likes to party, a little too much even and especially this time he went too far.
I love Magnus, I already said it I know but it’s because he’s great, he doesn’t look like a prince yet he doesn’t want to abdicate. I like his bad boy side, the fact that he can do what he wants impresses me and he likes extreme sports so why resist him.
Isabella is the princess of Liechtenstein, she has lived in the United Kingdom since she was 13, since the death of her mother, she sees her father and brothers only once a year for Christmas. I liked Ella very much, she is not arrogant but she knows what she wants, she does not hesitate to say what she thinks even before the king and queen of Norway. She is passionate about certain topics such as the environment. I found it particularly touching that her father hardly talks to her, it’s as if she doesn’t exist for him even with the wedding coming.
I might as well tell you that the meeting between Magnus and Ella is quite explosive and the following ones too but I really like the way they talk and get to know each other. Oh and the sex is long to come but Whoa it’s freaking hot.
I loved seeing Viktor again and I also really liked Lady Jane, I want to know more about king Aksel and I hope that Karina Halle will write a book about him.
In short, I loved this book; frankly if you like royalty read it and what better time than when Prince Harry marries Meghan Markle.
Quick word: A breathtaking Royal romance.
Chronique
