Like never and always tells us the story of Olivia, Morgan, Nathan and Clay. One night they have an accident and Liv wakes up in the hospital in the body of Morgan, her best friend. She will discover that Morgan had secrets, that she was not perfect at all and she will try to solve the enigma left by her. She’s also going to learn to be a new person, not Liv or Morgan.

I loved this book, quite frankly for a long time I wondered how it was possible, a lot of theories went through my head and finally without answers or belief I was carried away by history.

Liv is an intelligent, shy young girl and she will have a lot of trouble between Clay and Nathan, between her future and her past. She is angry and I understand her, her body is not hers, her life is not hers, she doesn’t dare to talk about it because people would think she is crazy. On this point I don’t think she’s wrong. I love Liv very much, she doesn’t let what happened get in the way, she tries to understand why and she also tries to make her life something good.

Clay is also a character I like, it took me a while to understand the relationship he had with Morgan but I really liked that boy. Her brother, Nathan, who is Liv’s boyfriend to him, or at least was, is totally different, he made me much less of an impact. I may have been unhappy to see him so sad and self-destructing through guilt and loss, but I find Clay more touching.

Ann Aguirre is a goddess, no matter what she writes, she always manages to make me vibrate, I don’t know how she does it but I love her.

Quick word: An exciting and surprising book.

Like never and always nous raconte l’histoire d’Olivia, Morgan, Nathan et Clay. Un soir ils ont un accident et Liv se réveille à l’hôpital dans le corps de Morgan, sa meilleure amie. Elle va découvrir que Morgan avait de secrets, qu’elle n’était pas parfaite du tout et elle essayer de résoudre l’énigme laissée par cette dernière. Elle va aussi apprendre à être une nouvelle personne, ni Liv, ni Morgan.

J’ai adoré ce livre, très franchement pendant un long moment je me suis demandé comment c’était possible, plein de théories me sont passées par la tête et finalement sans avoir de réponses ou sans y croire j’ai été emportée par l’histoire.

Liv est une jeune fille intelligente, timide et elle va avoir beaucoup de mal entre Clay et Nathan, entre son futur et son passé. Elle est en colère et je la comprends, son corps n’est pas le sien, sa vie n’est pas la sienne, elle n’ose pas en parler parce qu’on la prendrait pour une folle. Sur ce point je ne pense pas qu’elle est tort. J’aime beaucoup Liv, elle ne se laisse pas abattre par ce qui s’est passé, elle essaie de comprendre pourquoi et elle essaie aussi de faire de sa vie quelque chose de bien.

Clay est aussi un personnage que j’ai bien, j’ai mis du temps à comprendre la relation qu’il avait avec Morgan mais j’ai beaucoup aimé ce garçon. Son frère, Nathan, qui lui est le petit ami de Liv, ou du moins l’était, est totalement différent, il m’a fait beaucoup moins d’effet. J’ai certes été malheureuse de le voir si triste et s’autodétruire par la culpabilité et la perte mais je trouve que Clay est plus touchant.

Ann Aguirre est une déesse, quoiqu’elle écrive, elle arrive toujours à me faire vibrer, je ne sais pas comment elle fait mais je l’adore.

En bref : Un livre passionnant et surprenant.
