Review

Tyler Jones must pass his exam to graduate, he will finish as captain of the ship but to have a dream team he must finish first. Obviously this will not be the case, he will save a young damsel in distress who has been in cryogenics for 200 years and will miss his exam. He’ll end up with a broken arm team, at least that’s what he thinks. He will also have to take risks and discover a huge secret.

So much for the story, as far as the characters are concerned, we have Tyler, Alpha, he knows how to manage his team, he’s a golden boy, intelligent.

Scarlett Jones, Tyler’s sister, Face, she is in charge of negotiation and mediation. She’s absolutely awesome.

Catherine Brannock, Ace the very talented and sarcastic pilot. And she’ll tell you she’s not in love with Tyler… Finally you’ll see.

Finian of Karren de Sel, Gearhead, an alien, master in electronics, a real happiness this young man, he is funny and sarcastic and loves to use his charm.

Kaliis Gilwraeth, Tank, he manages the armament, he has a little problem with anger and he’s an alien. He is also very sexy, hot and charming. I have a little crush on him because I like his bad boy side. However, he knows how to be protective and tender.

Zila Madran, Brain, she is very intelligent but unfortunately she has trouble understanding human empathy and reactions.

Aurora Jie-Lyn O’Malley, the saved girl who lost 200 years of her life, her family and her world. She will have to learn to rebuild herself, discover a new generation and, what is more, she has changed to evolve.

Everyone gets along more or less well and frankly I loved this book, the characters are all endearing. Of course I have my preferences for Kal and Aurora but I also like Finian and Scarlett very much. I loved travelling in this world, discovering it and living an extraordinary adventure. I am very excited to read the next volume and discover even more things even though my heart bled at the end of this volume. And I totally ship the relationship in this book.

Quick word: An exciting and electrifying book to read absolutely.

Tyler Jones doit passer son examen pour être diplômé, il finira capitaine de vaisseau mais pour avoir une équipe de rêve il doit finir premier. Forcément cela ne sera pas le cas, il va sauver une jeune demoiselle en detresse qui était en cryogenie depuis 200 ans et va rater son examen. Il se retrouvera avec une équipe de bras cassé, du moins c’est ce qu’il croit. Il devra aussi prendre des risques et découvrir un énorme secret.

Voilà pour l’histoire, en ce qui concerne les personnages, nous avons Tyler, le capitaine, il sait manager son équipe, c’est un golden boy, intelligent.

Scarlett Jones, la sœur de Tyler, elle s’occupe de la négociation et médiation. Elle est absolument géniale.

Catherine Brannock, la pilote très talentueuse et sarcastique. Et elle vous dira qu’elle n’est pas amoureuse de Tyler… Enfin vous verrez.

Finian de Karren de Sel, un extraterrestre,  maitre en électronique, un vrai petit bonheur ce jeune homme, il est drôle et sarcastique et aime beaucoup utiliser son charme.

Kaliis Gilwraeth gère l’armement, il a un petit souci avec la colère et c’est un extraterrestre. J’ai un petit faible pour lui parce que j’aime son côté bad boy. Cependant il sait être protecteur et tendre.

Zila Madran, le cerveau, elle est très intelligente mais malheureusement elle a du mal à comprendre l’empathie et les réactions humaines.

Aurora Jie-Lyn O’Malley, la jeune fille sauvée qui a perdu 200 ans de sa vie, sa famille et son monde. Elle va devoir apprendre à se reconstruire, découvrir une nouvelle génération et qui plus est, elle a changé pour évoluer.

Tout ce petit monde s’entend plus ou moins bien et franchement j’ai adoré ce livre, les personnages sont tous attachants. J’ai bien sûr mes préférences pour Kal et Aurora mais j’aime aussi beaucoup Finian et Scarlett. J’ai adoré voyager dans ce monde, le découvrir et vivre une aventure extraordinaire. Je suis très impatiente de lire le prochain tome et de découvrir encore plus de choses même si mon cœur à saigné à la fin de ce tome.

En bref : Un livre passionnant et électrisant à lire absolument.
