Review
We find the characters exactly where we left them. The story intensifies, more and more things are revealed and the mystery surrounding Poppy becomes clearer.
I love Jennifer L Armentrout and this series is just great, it’s definitely more adult than any of her other series, let’s be honest the sex scenes in this particular volume are pretty big and steamy.
Poppy has evolved a lot over the tomes, she has matured a lot, she still lets her emotions guide her but she still listens to Casteel and Kieran. So much is happening to her, I am impressed with Poppy.
Casteel is true to himself, he wants to protect Poppy at all costs, he doesn’t hesitate to let her make the important decisions, to sacrifice himself if necessary. He always takes Poppy’s opinion into account, even if he finds it difficult to let her defend herself. But he always supports her and is always by her side.
Kieran is always my favorite, I love this boy, he has a special humor. I also enjoyed seeing Casteel’s parents, getting to know them.
There is so much going on in this book, betrayals, revelations and everything else. I loved the ending, I have to say that I have been waiting for a while for Poppy to reveal herself and now I am not disappointed at all. I can’t wait to read the next book and find out how Poppy and Casteel will save the world.
Quick Word: If you’ve read the first two books, you’ll love this one and if you don’t know this series, go for it, it’s great.

On retrouve les personnages exactement là où nous les avons laissés. L’histoire s’intensifie, on après de plus en plus de choses et le mystère qui entoure Poppy s’éclaircit.
J’adore Jennifer L Armentrout et cette série est tout simplement géniale, elle est nettement plus adulte que toute ses autres séries, soyons honnête les scènes de sexe dans ce tome en particulier sont assez importantes et torrides.
Poppy a beaucoup évolué au cours des tomes, elle a pris beaucoup de maturité, elle se laisse toujours guider par ses émotions mais elle écoute quand même Casteel et Kieran. Il lui arrive tellement de choses, je suis impressionnée par Poppy.
Casteel est fidèle à lui-même, il veut à tout prix protéger Poppy, il n’hésite pas à la laisser prendre les décisions importantes, à se sacrifier si besoin. Il prend toujours en compte l’avis de Poppy même si il éprouve des difficultés à la laisser se défendre seule. Mais il la soutiens toujours et est toujours à ses côtés.
Kieran est toujours mon chouchou, j’aime ce garçon, il a un humour particulier. J’ai apprécié aussi de voir les parents de Casteel, d’apprendre à les connaitre.
Il se passe tellement de choses dans ce livre, que ce soit les trahisons, les révélations et tout le reste. J’ai adoré la fin, je dois dire que j’attendais depuis un moment que Poppy se révèle et là je ne suis absolument pas déçue. J’ai vraiment hâte de lire le prochain tome et de découvrir comme Poppy et Casteel vont sauver le monde.
En bref : Si vous avez lu les deux premiers tomes, vous adorerez celui-ci et si vous ne connaissez pas cette série, foncez elle est géniale.
