Unforgiven tells us the story of Emilio and Gabriella. Emilio’s parents were killed when he was young. He suspects his father’s business partner and best friend Santiago Alcantar to be responsible. The Alcantar family moved to the United States the day Emilio’s parents died. Emilio has never gotten over it and when Gabriella Alcantar arrives at his club he decides that she will be his revenge.

I liked the story, as always with Diana Nixon, the sexual tension is very present, there are authors for whom you know you need a box of tissues not far away and then there is Diana. In her case you need your husband nearby, or any other object that might satisfy you.

Back to the story, Emilio is very attractive, I must admit that his methods to get Gabriella are very drastic and I would probably have been much less understanding than Gaby. It’s a good thing his best friend Marcos and his aunt are there to ease Gaby’s worries. Emilio is stubborn, he acts before he thinks when it comes to the alcantar, his hatred gets the better of him and that is rarely a good thing. However his attraction for Gaby is visible and even if he doesn’t realize it, it’s not the case for everyone.

Gabriella is a lovely girl, she had come to spend a relaxing time in Barcelona before leaving for the United States but no luck she ends up with Emilio. Gaby has quite a character, she is attracted to Emilio but she doesn’t let herself go, she doesn’t appreciate his way of doing things. However, we can’t say that he scares her, she understands his pain even if she doesn’t believe that her father is responsible.

I loved seeing them bicker, they are both adorable, as I said at the beginning, the sexual tension is present, the hot scenes too and even if sometimes you will want to hit Emilio, it is still in love.

Quick Word: A perfect romance for the summer that arrives with the heat.

Unforgiven nous raconte l’histoire d’Emilio et Gabriella. Les parents d’Emilio ont été tués lorsqu’Emilio était jeune. Il suspecte l’associé et meilleur ami de son père Santiago Alcantar d’être le responsable. La famille Alcantar a déménagée aux Etats-Unis le jour de la mort des parents d’Emilio. Emilio ne s’en ai jamais remis et lorsque Gabriella Alcantar arrive dans son club il décide qu’elle sera sa vengeance.

J’ai bien aimé l’histoire, comme à chaque fois avec Diana Nixon, la tension sexuelle est très présente, il y a des auteurs pour lesquelles vous savez que vous avez besoin d’une boite de mouchoirs pas loin et puis il y a Diana. Dans son cas il vous faut votre mari pas loin, ou tout autre objet qui pourrait vous satisfaire.

Revenons-en à l’histoire, Emilio est très séduisant, je dois avouer que ses méthodes pour avoir Gabriella sont très drastiques et j’aurais probablement été beaucoup moins compréhensive que Gaby. Encore heureux que son meilleur ami Marcos et sa tante sont là pour apaiser les inquiétudes de Gaby. Emilio est têtu, il agit avant de réfléchir en ce qui concerne les alcantar, sa haine prend le dessus et c’est rarement une bonne chose. Cependant son attirance pour Gaby est visible et même si lui ne s’en rend pas compte, ce n’est pas le cas de tout le monde.

Gabriella est une jeune fille adorable, elle était venue pour passer un moment de détente à Barcelone avant de repartir aux Etats Unis mais pas de chance elle se retrouve avec Emilio. Gaby a un sacré caractère, elle est attirée par Emilio mais elle ne se laisse pas faire, elle n’apprécie pas sa manière de faire. Cependant on ne peut pas dire qu’il lui fasse peur, elle comprends sa douleur même si elle ne croit pas que son père soit responsable.

J’ai adoré les voir se chamailler, ils sont adorables tous les deux, comme je le disais au début, la tension sexuelle est présente, les scènes torrides aussi et même si parfois vous voudrez frapper Emilio, il n’en reste pas moins qu’il est amoureux.

En bref : Une romance parfaite pour l’été qui arrive avec la chaleur.
