Regret . . . she’s a snarky little bitch.
I’ve tried several times to regret the events that took place on June 5, 2008, but for the life of me, I can’t. I’d never regret the pain, the suffering, or the heartache because they ultimately led me to the place I am now. And I can’t regret the place I am now. What I still can’t figure out is this: how is it possible that the single worst day of my life inadvertently became the very best day?
Five years ago my life was irrevocably changed.
Seventeen minutes was all it took—
to lose my best friend…
to lose the love of my life…
Seventeen minutes was all it took for the seeds of hope—the seeds of my future—to be planted in the worst possible way.
Tyson is Harley best friend, they know each other very well but one day Harley confess her love to Tyson. He doesn’t react well and go to New York with his girlfriend. This night a tragic event happens to Harley and her life changes.
Five years later, Harley has a good life and good friends but she doesn’t forget Tyson. When Tyson come back in town, he wants to see Harley and take their relation at another level but Harley is angry.
Tyson will fight for Harley’s love.
First of all I want you to know that I have read this book in one day, once begun, I was not able to stop before the end because I absolutely wanted to know how their relation was going to finish. I wasn’t surprised by the various events, I had understood what it had happened and with whom.
Harley is great person, she’s a nurse and she managed to overcome the events thanks to Levy and Quinn. She’s strong and even if she loves Tyson, it’s hard for her to see him because the last time in left her. You can feel different feelings of Harley, her pain, her sorrow, her joy and you can feel her love for Tyson.
Tyson is a doctor and he is hot, he loves Harley since college but when she tells her 5 years ago that she loves him, the news was too strong and he left. Now he wants her and he doesn’t know anything about her life these five last years.
Levy is Tyson friend but he is also the one who find Harley that terrible night and since this moment he is a good friend of her, he takes care of Harley.
Quinn is Harley’s best friend, she is a little crazy and I love that about her. She has a big mouth.
I love all these characters, Harley and Tyson are destined to be together even with all the anger, guilt and incomprehension. I love Harley and her vision of life, she doesn’t regret what happened to her because the most beautiful thing is arrived after. She is a positive girl even with her heart break. I like Tyson even if sometimes I wanted to punch him because he doesn’t understand woman at all. But in the end he’s really a great man and he is ready to give Harley all she wants and all she needs.
Levy is so great, I love this character, he is hot like hell and funny too and he can cook so yeah I love him. Max is nice too, I like the way he talks and I like the relation between him and Levy.
K.L Grayson is good at writing, the anger of the different characters are well describe and the other feelings too. I have cried a little and laugh too. The story was about forgiveness and second chance and as I have already said it I was hooked from the very first page. The writing style is fluid and the characters are believable and entertaining. They are good people with hearts and brains. The story is told in Dual POV and it’s great because Tyson POV brings a lot in the story.
I really enjoyed reading Where we belong and I can’t wait to read more books of K.L Grayson.
Thanks to K.L Grayson and Literaty Author Service for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.
