This love by Anna Bloom
Amber’s always planned to leave her overbearing mother and their stifling small town behind as soon as she graduates. That is until her car breaks down outside Bale and Son’s mechanics and she meets Freddy Bale. A boy who’d rather live in the moment than make a five-year-plan.
Ignoring her friends’ warnings, Amber puts all dreams for her perfect future on hold, and dives into the romance heart first. On their last day of school, however, Freddy decides to call off their relationship, and Amber does the only thing she can think of: Run away and never look back. Just like she’d always planned.
Ten years pass before Amber sets foot in town again, only returning to look after her ailing mother. While Freddy wants to make amends, Amber is confronted with her own wrong choices from ten years ago. Choices that could change the lives of everyone she’s ever loved.
When first love is given a second chance and the secrets of the past come hurtling into the present, will Amber and Freddy be able to lay their mistakes to rest and make this love the strongest one of all?
It’s a story about a young girl who falls in love with a boy, it’s her first love and sadly it doesn’t goes well with her scholarship.
This book is told in two parts, the first one is about the past and the second one is about the present.
Amber is young, she has plans for her future but one night will change everything. One boy will capture her heart and break it. Her life will change dramatically but she’s strong, she will fight for herself and the people she loves.
Freddy Bale is the perfect man, he’s protective, fun, kind, hot, sexy and perfect. I don’t know a man, who is like him, I can tell you more because I want you to be surprise and I’m not a big fan of spoiler in review.
I like Amber even if she’s so naïve and made some poor choice for her life, she’s strong and in the end she will find her way.
I like Freddy even if sometimes he’s too perfect, I know that it’s weird but a man like Freddy doesn’t exist, I don’t believe in that. And yes I’m not optimistic. But I like him, it’s really nice to read a story where the boy has all the girls he wants.
Anna Bloom style is good, the story is well written and the characters are nice, I really wish Freddy could exist and make some girl life better.
