Synopsis (from goodreads)

Helena Conway has fallen in love.
Unwillingly. Unwittingly.
But not unprovoked.
Kit Isley is everything she’s not—unstructured, untethered,
and not even a little bit careful.
It could all be so beautiful … if he wasn’t dating her best friend.
Helena must defy her heart, do the right thing, and think of others.
Until she doesn’t.

Review

What can I say, the first chapter was magical, the first part of the book was nice and at some point I was so irritate with the characters that I lost my patience with this book. It doesn’t happen often but this time it’s hard to like it.

Helena dreamed of her best friend’s boyfriend, Kit. After this dream, the only thing she’s thinking about is him; her own boyfriend doesn’t interest her anymore. But Helena has a moral code and it’s wrong to fall in love with your Best friend’s boyfriend. She’s trying as hard as she can to forget him. Her best friend, Della is really in love, and she has some jealousy’s problem with Helena. Kit is attracted by Helena but never cease to go with Della.

Ok so let’s be honest here, Della is a bitch, ok Helena is in love with her boyfriend but she didn’t act on it, so WTF. More than that, I think she’s feeling insecure and she needs a man to love her and make her feel good. She’s acting like a bitch, she’s not being a good girlfriend because she obsessive, she’s doing one things that irritates me at the maximum.

Helena is trying to go away but in the same time she’s obsess with him, she’s trying to find his ex and being friend with her. I understand that she’s in love, but girl it’s just from a dream; it’s not an excuse for obsession.

Kit seems great at the beginning but his indecision kills me, if he loves Helena, why does he return with Della, why does he force Helena to stay with him even if he knew she loves him and can’t have him.

The only character I love in this book is Greer, she’s nice and very smart.

Tarryn Fisher writes very well but her choice with the story doesn’t please me and sadly as it was my first book of her, I’m not sure I will continue, except for Never Never part three of course.

I don’t recommend this book and not because there is a love triangle because for me there isn’t, Kit loves Helena and not Della but he’s weak and don’t want to choose.
