Since Skye Reilly can remember, she has been looking up to the stars. With high school graduation upon her, her telescope in one hand and her college acceptance letter in the other, she has life as meticulously mapped out as her star chart. That is, until the Celeians arrive and she meets Ethan, an alluring alien. Ethan collides into her like an asteroid, causing a gravitational shift in Skye’s trajectory and hurling her life into a cataclysmic collision course of interplanetary proportions.

The Celeians promise many things. An end to disease, global warming, and famine. The knowledge to help humankind. Despite the suspicions surrounding the intriguing aliens and rising anti-alien protests, Skye gives Ethan her trust, and eventually her heart. The very heart he could stop with a lethal electrifying touch of his hand.
When the Magistrate, a council of alien leaders, threatens to put an end to their interspecies relationship, following her heart could cost Skye her life and the lives of everyone she loves.
Not even light can escape the pull of a black hole.

Skye is a girl passionate about the stars and the universe, when aliens as beautiful as intelligent land on earth, she cannot help being attracted by them, especially by the beautiful Ethan.

When Skye meets Ethan, an imaginary force pulls her towards him, he’s an alien with great powers and not everyone is in favor of an inter-species relationship.

Skye is sometimes a little naive, especially when she thinks that aliens, who are smarter than humans, only want to help and not rule over humanity. However, as the story progresses, she matures and learns to distinguish the true from the fake as much as possible. I love Skye and her passion for the stars, she’s a geek and despite the fact that sometimes she doesn’t know what she wants she’s an adorable girl. She knows she is taking chances, but she still wants to give her relationship with Ethan a chance.

Ethan is the alien with considerable powers who don’t understand why he’s attracted to Skye because he doesn’t know what it’s like to feel emotions. It’s all new for him and it scares him. He will do everything in his power to protect Skye from his companions.

I liked the story, which is reminiscent of the Star Crossed series or the Alienated book, and both of them were perfect for me, so I have no complaints about this book apart … When will the second book goes out because I want more.

I think the topic is quite interesting when you draw a parallel with what’s happening in the world right now, between Trump who wants total power and the people who trust or rebel. I liked the fact that the Aliens are present to help humanity, now I’m not naive, they have hidden motives.

Frankly, I was pleasantly surprised by Colliding Skies and her author, Debbie Zaken has a very nice pen, we imagine very easily ourselves instead of Skye and we want the relationship between Skye and Ethan going well.

Quick word: An adventure that enchanted me.
