A bloody path has been chosen…

The war against the Titans continues, and they remain determined to wreak havoc on the world, but Seth has become something all gods fear. Now the most dangerous, most absolute power no longer resides in those who have been freed from their tombs.

The Great War fought by the few is coming…

All may doubt and fear what Seth has become. All except the one woman who might be his final chance at redemption. Josie will do anything to prove that Seth is on their side, but fate has a nasty way of changing lives, of changing people.

In the end, the sun will fall…

The only way they can save the future and save themselves is by facing the unknown together. It will take more than trust and faith. It will take love and the kind of strength not easily broken. No matter what, their lives will never be the same.

For what the gods have feared has come to pass. The end of the old is here and the beginning of the new has been ushered in…

I loved this book, I missed Seth and Josie, it’s been a while since I had this book and each time with Jennifer L Armentrout, although I know I would not be disappointed I hesitate to start it . Probably because I don’t want the story to end, I love her characters so much, whether Josie, Seth, Alex, Ayden, Deacon or Luke.

Seth finally became a God Killer, he fled leaving Josie safe with Alex, Ayden, Deacon and Luke, or so he believes. But Josie is kidnapped by Hyperion and tortured; everyone are searching for her except Seth who is not aware of her disappearance. When he learns it, he’s ready to return heaven and earth to save her, he finally realizes that the only place where Josie is safe is by his side because he can now protect her.

I love Josie, she’s stubborn and on this point she looks a lot like Alex, she has a blind trust in Seth and even if she knows how to stand up to him, she can never resist very long. I enjoyed seeing her weak in the face of what had happened to her, I like that she relies with difficulty even with her status as Half God. And above all I love her love for Seth, her faith in him and her want to share everything with him.

Seth is true to himself, selfish, arrogant and endearing at the same time. He gets better, we know that he likes Josie and Alex, but we realize that he likes Ayden, Deacon and Luke too. I love Seth even if in this book he has a lot of work to do on himself, he is unpleasant with many people, even when they are devoted to his service.

I’m always happy to see Alex and Ayden, I love these two, they are adorable and they deserve to live happily. I appreciate that Alex is getting closer to Josie, they are so similar in some aspects. Ayden on his side spends more time with Seth and I think that eventually they start to understand each other if not like each other.

I love Jennifer’s style, her characters are always endearing and she makes us travel with her stories.

Quick Word: A very nice success that this third book, I loved everything and cannot wait to read The Prophecy next week.
