Broken. Scattered. But not defeated.

The spy is gone but the cost has been high – the rebels at Cimmeria Academy have lost their leader and Carter West is missing. Nathaniel can taste victory. But Allie and the other survivors aren’t done yet. First they have to get Carter back. Then they plan to make Nathaniel pay.

One way or another – the game must end.

This is the end, Carter saved Allie but nobody knows where he is. Allie will do everything to save him and defeat Nathaniel.

Allie is strong, she knows how to fight and mostly she wants to fight and have Carter back. All the Nightschool is behind her, they all wants Carter back and Nathaniel gone.

The thing is Allie sometimes is childish, she loves Carter but she doesn’t know how to tell Sylvain so she avoids him. She keeps secret the fact she sleep with Carter to Rachel but she’s disturbed by the secret Rachel keep from her.

This is the last book of the series and for me it’s not the better, it’s a fast reading but I don’t know I think that the book 4 and the 5 could have been reduce in one book only.

C.J’s writing style is nice and she has created some great characters, evil or not. This series is really good and I’m happy to have read it.
